Team Blake representative Jermaine Paul is the winner of “The Voice” Season 2, outperforming other hopefuls in the popular US singing-reality show.

Jermaine is a former longtime back-up singer of Alicia Keys; and despite the few of instances that he did not show his best, he still reigned supreme at the end of the competition.  When the announcement was made, Alicia made a call to personally congratulate her former back-up singer.

“She was screaming with excitement.  She told me she’s been watching me and supporting me the whole time. She was saying how proud of me she was,” shared Jermaine.

Cee Lo’s team on the other hand represented by Juliet Simms took second place; Tony Lucca from Team Adam came in third; and Christina’s team represented by Chris Mann had the fourth spot.

Before the winner was announced, the night was filled with great performances from the four finalists and guest celebrities.

Jermaine expressed that he is very happy for winning the competition.  He also thanked all his family members, friends, supporters, fellow contestants and the judges.  He then took the stage one more time to sing “I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly.

He takes home the $100,000 top price and a record deal with Universal.

Not only did Lopez give Smart a pimped up truck for his birthday, she also gave him a promotion from back-up dancer to choreographer of her upcoming world tour.

Carey is sharing her incredible weight-loss secrets as she headlines the cover for the May issue of ‘Shape Magazine’.

She shares, “I put on around 70 pounds, but if you look at photos of me when I was pregnant, you’d say, ‘Wow, she gained 9,000 pounds!,’” Mariah says candidly. “A lot of it was water weight because I pretty much had head-to-toe edema, which is very painful.”

Mariah confesses to choosing Jenny Craig to help her lose the weight because she liked “the structure” of the program.

“I used to be able to slim down just by exercising more, but that’s changed. Since having the babies, I realize that 90 percent of losing weight is my diet,” she says about her current plan. “Today my workout routine is more about getting and staying toned. And for me, that means either taking hour-long walks a few times a week or jumping in the pool three or four days a week to do 45 minutes of aquatic exercises.”

And, for those eagerly waiting to hear Mariah’s music again, the pop star says she hopes to come out with a new album this year!

“I’ve started writing songs for a new album, which I hope will come out in 2012. Getting back in the studio and making music again — which I truly love doing — is the best way to end this crazy year.”

According to TMZ.com, the soul singer, who resides in Los Angeles, has been hit with a lien – an official claim against his property – for the payment of his unpaid taxes which now totals a huge $1,130,609.

If his back taxes are left unpaid, the American government could repossess Richie’s property to clear the debt and the singer and his family could be left without a home.

The funny thing is that according to legal documents, Richie is reportedly worth $200 million, having racked up a huge number of hits over the years, including Hello, All Night Long, Dancing on the Ceiling and Easy Like Sunday Morning.

Call Miley Cyrus anything but anorexic. She may appear to be looking too thin lately but she flat out denies she has an eating disorder (Heck I wish I had one so I could lose all the weight I want to lose. Anorexia you are welcome in my body anytime!).

Anyway, back to Miley.

She took to her Twitter account to answer all the talk about her weight, tweeting, “For everyone calling me anorexic I have a gluten and lactose allergy.”

“It’s not about weight it’s about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!” the 19-year-old star, who is regularly seen attending Pilates classes in Los Angeles, tweets some more.

She even encouraged her five million-plus Twitter followers to try out her eating regime.

“Everyone should try no gluten for a week. The change in your skin, physical and mental health is amazing! U won’t go back!” In a Twitter response to sister Noah, she shared with her fans that’s she’s eating plenty, but making good choices.

“U saw how much I ate today at Easter lunch,” she wrote to her 12-year-old sister. “But all of it was healthy and even more fulfilling! Health is happiness!”

And when it comes to getting her fast food fix, Miley simply enjoys getting a whiff.

“I can’t eat it,” she wrote in a Tweet with a photo of herself smelling a Carl’s Jr. bag. “So I’m just gonna smell the s— out of it! My mouth is LITERALLY watering.”

“Cheryl is beginning a new chapter in her life so she doesn’t want to be associated with negative stuff from the past,” a source was quoted as saying.

“She’s not removing Cole legally, it’s just a career statement. She’s in a really good place at the moment and wants to take life by the balls.

According to reports, the movie will revolve around former Apple founder and CEO’s younger years or his hippie days. The film, under the direction of Joshua Michael Stern, will begin production this summer when the That 70s show star is on break from his CBS sitcom.

Meanwhile, Ashton Kutcher is getting the raised eyebrows from the people who brought back cowboy boots and great music. Country Music Artist and Female Vocalist of the Year awardee Miranda Lambert recently tweeted about Kutcher’s obnoxious behavior during the Academy of Country Music Award last Sunday. According to her tweet last Monday “”Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me?
