So much for those naysayers who have been lambasting her for using her pregnancy as some sort of a convenient excuse to become so huge, with some even betting their bottom dollar that she will never be able wear her daisy dukes ever again.

With that three million deal with ‘Weight-watchers’ Jessica will surely have three million reasons to try her hardest to lose the weight — not that she needs the three million, but she does need to lose weight… so why not do it with her husband’s enthusiastic support and a $3 million incentive on the side?

Aside from this ‘Weight-watchers’ deal, Jessica Simpson has reportedly sold the first pictures of her newborn daughter for $800,000 to ‘People’ magazine — again, not that she needs the $800,000, but why not make money off your baby’s pics when the opportunity is offered to you, right? You and I would.

Ever since she became a mother, Jessica says her life has changed for the better. She tweeted: “I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”

Indeed, if every woman can just get pregnant, get paid $3 million to lose the post-baby weight and sell her child’s pictures for at least $800,000 then motherhood would really be the very best thing a woman will experience — on top of having the baby.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who gave birth to her first child last November is now the object of ridicule and bashing for not losing her post-baby weight fast or soon enough.

The actress who has eluded the limelight after giving birth was recently seen at a red carpet event looking less than glamorous and fit as people were used to seeing her — in fact some people were even nasty enough to focus on her ‘double chin’ and say she looked nothing like the astronomical superstar she looked before she gave birth.

Aishwarya is being slammed even in her native India by film fans, on blogs, and in entertainment columns for not dropping her baby-weight fast enough, with many arguing the star, 38, has a “duty” to her supporters to keep up her image.

“She is a Bollywood actress and it is her duty to look good and fit,” one video commenter sniped. Another suggested she “needs to learn from people like Victoria Beckham who are back to size zero weeks after their delivery.”

Showbiz columnist Shobhaa De opined, “Aishwarya is like a goddess. She is held up as the ideal of beauty and so there is an expectation on her to look perfect at all times. The role models being held up are Angelina Jolie and Victoria Beckham . . . this whole business of looking desperately skinny two weeks after giving birth is a Western import.”

Rai, for her part, said she just wants to “enjoy motherhood”– and not stress about the number on a scale.

At least no one is accusing Aishwarya of using a surrogate.

Honda announced in its official website that it is recalling 52,615 model-year 2007-2208 Honda Acura TL sedans in the United States. It is also mentioned that deteriorating power-steering hoses sparked the Honda recall.

According to the news release published on Honda.com, the power steering hose may deteriorate and develop a fluid leak over time on these sedans. Leaking power steering fluid could lead to loss of power steering assistance and if it leaks onto a catalyctic converter, it may result in smoke or fire.

Notification regarding this recall will be mailed to Honda customers starting mid-June 2012. Honda encourages owners of all affected vehicles to take their vehicles to an authorized dealer as soon as they receive the notification.

Vehicle owners can also check if their vehicle is part of this recall by going online at www.recalls.acura.com or by calling (800) 382-2238, and selecting option 4, the news release said.

Honda reportedly said that there have been no reported crashes, injuries or fires related to this problem.

The same power steering problem expanded in China where Honda has recalled a total of 537 vehicles produced between May 2006 and January 2007.

Unfortunately, fans were shocked when Maria Menounos got kicked off from Dancing With The Stars 2012 on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 on their Week 9 elimination night or semi-finals, despite leading the scores on Monday and received a perfect score from the judges.

As featured at ABC on Tuesday night, Maria Menounos & Derek Hough were eliminated from the DWTS 2012 semi-finals, with the show now with only 3 dancing pairs left; while William Levy & Cheryl Burke was requested to repeat their performance last time which they did.

On Monday night, Maria & Derek led the scores (59/60) and received a perfect score from the judges in Round 1, while William & Cheryl landed second (58/60) and received a perfect score in Round 2. Katherine Jenkins suffered a back injury due to a complicated dance move.

On Tuesday night’s elimination, Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas were the first ones to be announced as safe despite Katherine’s back spasms the other night. She and Mark jumped around and screamed in the ballroom as the audiences’ votes saved her.

Meanwhile, Maria & Derek landed in the jeopardy after Alannis Morrisette performed her latest single “Guardian” from her upcoming album ‘Havoc and Bright Lights’.

Later, Carrie Underwood sang her latest song “Good Girl”, the first single off her new album “Blown Away”; and William Levy & Cheryl Burke were announced as safe while Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd were announced to be joining Maria & Derek in the jeopardy.

Apparently, Maria Menounos, who also received a perfect score during Week 7 in the episode called ‘Classical Week’ after she dressed up as a vampire and bite Derek‘s neck on the last part, was eliminated and the crowd was seen as surprised after the result was announced.

With Maria Menounos’ elimination, Katherine, Donald and William will advance to the Season 14 of the Dancing With the Stars finale. The top three will perform on Monday, May 21 for the last time and a winner will be crowned on Tuesday, May 22.

Team Blake representative Jermaine Paul is the winner of “The Voice” Season 2, outperforming other hopefuls in the popular US singing-reality show.

Jermaine is a former longtime back-up singer of Alicia Keys; and despite the few of instances that he did not show his best, he still reigned supreme at the end of the competition.  When the announcement was made, Alicia made a call to personally congratulate her former back-up singer.

“She was screaming with excitement.  She told me she’s been watching me and supporting me the whole time. She was saying how proud of me she was,” shared Jermaine.

Cee Lo’s team on the other hand represented by Juliet Simms took second place; Tony Lucca from Team Adam came in third; and Christina’s team represented by Chris Mann had the fourth spot.

Before the winner was announced, the night was filled with great performances from the four finalists and guest celebrities.

Jermaine expressed that he is very happy for winning the competition.  He also thanked all his family members, friends, supporters, fellow contestants and the judges.  He then took the stage one more time to sing “I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly.

He takes home the $100,000 top price and a record deal with Universal.

Former New York Giants wide receiver Stacy Robinson has died at the age of 50.

Robinson’s death was announced on Tuesday by Giants co-owner John Mara.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Stacy Robinson.  He was a good man who was loved and respected by his teammates and everyone in this organization. His work on behalf of the players association was of great benefit to many players. He will be missed. His family is in our thoughts and prayers,” expressed Mara.

In 2009, Robinson was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a certain type of cancer of the blood.  He then went through bone-marrow transplant, chemotherapy and stem cell transplant and entered a hospice care, said a statement released by the bereaved family.

The 5-11 wide receiver came out as 46^th over all draft pick from North Dakota State in 1985.  He played for six NFL seasons for the New York Giants making a modest career statistics but came out with big plays for his team during crucial moments.

He has won two super bowls under the Giants.  At the age of 29, he opted for retirement.

In the last couple of years, he worked for the NFL Players Association taking a stint as director of player development and overseeing the issue of drug use among players.

Stacy’s survivors include his wife and three sons.
