There is just no stopping Anne Curtis. We see her on television every single day; hosting Showtime from Mondays to Fridays and on Sundays hosting and performing on ASAP Rocks.

She recently ventured into singing with the release of her album, AnneBisyosa. Last Sunday, she has again proven that she has a large following by receiving a Platinum Record award for her debut album.

Have we mentioned that she is the first Filipino celebrity to have one million followers? Well now, she has surpassed the two million mark.

According to heads of various record stores, Curtis’ album has been doing really good for several weeks.

Liza Fonacier, operations manager of Odyssey Music and Video said that “People from all walks of life are grabbing a copy of it [AnneBisyosa].”

Astroplus Marketing consultant Katherine Choy shared, “Your [Curtis'] album has been on the top of the charts for several weeks now.We hope you will release more and more of your songs here in Astro.”

Upon receiving the Platinum Record Award in ASAP Rocks, Curtis announced that she will be holding her first major solo concert “AnneBisyosa – No Other Concert World Tour” on January 28, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Vice Ganda and Sarah Geronimo will be guest performers.

The 17-year-old actress plays Bing in the series. Like Jasmine,Bing is also Filipina-Australian. She portrays the ladylove of Ben played by JC de Vera.

In an interview last Saturday on the press conference for “Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum” in Byanihan Center,Mandaluyong City.Jasmine revealed thge first thing she learned from doing her very first series is acting.

She admitted that this is her very first series and she put a lot of effort into making this series a sure hit.She also expressed that she faced many facets of her life she never bothered to take notice as she is still young.

Further, Jasmine emphatically expressed,lacking she is in acting experience, she gives thanks to those people who are helping her in channeling the much needed emotions in every scene.

“Kasi ito yung first na pinaghirapan ko nang todo-todo na project.

“So, marami akong anggulo na kailangan i-face, na I’d never have to face before in my life, kasi sobrang bata ko pa.

“Siyempre, I still lack that experience, pero it’s nice na merong tumutulong sa akin in order to channel that type of emotion or character in me.

“So, I think that’s the biggest thing that I’ve grown into,”says Jasmine.

IN BEING COMPARED TO ANNE CURTIS

Almost everybody knows,Jasmine is the much adored younger sister of the very famous Anne Curtis, hence,comparison to the sisters is likely.

However, Jasmine positively answered that comparison there will be, at the very least,people will come into conclusion that she is no Anne Curtis,but her own self.

“Of course, meron pong takot sa akin na baka meron mag-end up sa comparisons.

“Pero, the way I see it, maganda pag kinu-compare kami kasi nakikita yung differences namin lalo na as a person.

“I don’t think that pointing out the differences is such a bad thing.

“When people start seeing it bad it’s when its starts to be bad.”

The “Showtime” host said during a press conference of her upcoming movie:

“For me kasi, the only reason I would take action is if they didn’t do their part. But they did, they reached out to me, their country manager, a British man, made an effort to apologize. He wasn’t in the country when it happened but they said that they were terribly sorry.”

Anne furthered that the airline company will compensate for the lost ring.  The ring is worth $600, a gift Anne gave to herself after all her hardwork.  She said that she appreciate the efforts of the airline company of taking action over her concern.

“Although they won’t replace the ring itself, just the value of the ring. Papalitan naman nila,” she furthered.

Anne Curtis reportedly disembarked from the aircraft where she left her bag with the ring inside.  However, when she returned half and hour later, all that was left was the box where the ring was placed.

Other stars on the said film are Eugene Domingo, Dennis Padilla, Dina Bonnevie, John Lapus, Candy Pangilinan, Abby Bautista, Dino Imperial and Maki Billiones.

In the movie, Anne and Richard had so many love scenes that generated speculations that Anne’s current boyfriend Erwan Heussaff is jealous.

Anne said on the column that,

“I feel that even though Erwan says he supports my movie 100 percent, kahit papano may selos pa din.  Richard and I went all-out in the movie.”

As to the purported lots of love scenes with former boyfriend Richard Gutierrez, Anne said that it was actually Richard who requested for more love scenes with her on the film.  To be exact, Anne said,

“Nakulangan si Richard sa love scenes namin.  I respect the opinion of my coactors.”

Maybe Richard wants to reminisce the good old days with Anne climaxed with their own kissing video?  Hmmm…

Presently, Richard is working on Thailand as the host of Survivor Philippines Celebrity Edition.

Anne Curtis, former girlfriend of Sam Milby was asked last Sunday on the TV show “The Buzz” if she feels jealous about Sam’s new love.  Anne Curtis without any second thoughts answered that she is very happy for her former boyfriend.

“More than anything I’m happy for Sam. I really and sincerely happy for him kaya sana after this interview maging malinaw na sa lahat na Sam and I are fine. Happy ako para sa kanya, for him and Marie. And I’m sure Sam is also happy for me.”

Anne Curtis or Marie Digby?  Hmmm, very tough choice, but I guess I will have to go with the latter. Hik hik hik!
