A source said: “Brad’s been doing extensive renovation on the house and is using a specialist in chateau restoration.

“Brad’s spent over £10 million already. Now he’s offering hefty bonuses to workers to complete it by summer. He’s even trying to organize an airplane landing site in the grounds for guests to come in by private jet — but that’s proving rather tricky, what with permits and no-fly zones.”

Brad also wants all the food and drinks for the reception to be locally produced and has been very involved with everything that is going to be on the menu.

“Brad’s been tasting and looking up French dishes for weeks. He wants the perfect menu and, of course, the perfect wine to accompany it. That is all going to be locally sourced, too,” the source added.

Now it can be told… Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have indeed planned to wed at the private chapel on their 35-million-pound estate in the south of France this summer.

It’s official! Long-time partners Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally engaged!

Pitt’s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante said in a statement to ‘People’ and the ‘Associated Press’ on Friday afternoon that, “Yes, it’s confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy.

“There’s no date set at this time,” she added.

This recent confirmation gives credence to reports that Angelina was spotted wearing what looked like a huge engagement ring on her left ring finger as she, Brad and son Pax toured the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Wednesday night.

Brad and Angelina have been together since 2005 and although they already have six kids — Maddox, 10; Pax, 8; Zahara, 7; Shiloh, 5 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 3 — the couple chose to not get married until such time that marriage was legal for all sexes.

The mansion was in the maket for a higher value ranging from $13.5 to $14.5 according to various reports.

DeGeneres, 53, and De Rossi, 38, put their Architectural Digest-featured home up for sale at S49 million in October and around Thanksgiving, there was buzz of Degeneres’ interest in Pitt’s estate.

The Malibu mansion is at 4,000 square feet, a downsize from their 15,000 square feet mansion. The four-bed, four-bath home overlooks the Pacific Ocean, has a private beach access, consists of two separate houses, a pool, a tennis court and lush gardens. The house has bamboo flooring and glass walls.

Pitt purchased the property for $8.41 when he split with Aniston. Pitt who is now with Angelina Jolie have six children together – three adopted, three biological, and houses all over the world – Los Angeles; Santa Barbara, California; France; New Orleans and Cambodia.

DeGeneres hosts her own talk show, Ellen. Australian De Rossi currently stars in Arrested Development. The two were married in August of 2008 with just around 20 witnesses. Talking about how he felt he was ‘pretending’ in his marriage to Aniston is not a crime. He was just stating the ‘facts’ as he knew it. Just the same he received a lot of flak for it and he felt he had to apologize or at least explain himself.

It just seems Americans love to sugar-coat and be politically correct about everything when not everything can be sugar-coated and be politically correct. Shit happens – there is not being ‘politically correct’ about it.

Bennett appeared on Howard Stern’s show and made the ‘mistake’ of sharing what he thinks caused 9/11, saying, “They flew the plane in, but we caused it. Because we were bombing them and they told us to stop.”

While there really is no excuse for terrorism, should Bennett apologize for what he said when that was how things came to him?

Did Bennett’s statement make him less of an American who loves his country enough to fight for it during World War II?
