Kim said in an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon”

“Kahit naman anong ginagawa niya ang kung saan siya [masaya], nandito lang naman ako nakasuporta pa rin.”

Gerald Anderson was reported to have been contemplating of leaving the entertainment industry in order to join the Philippine Basketball Association’s D-League.  Sports writers said that Gerald had joined the practice of the NLEX Red Warriors a couple of times.  (watch video of Gerald here playing basketball)

This was confirmed by the NLEX coach, Boyet Fernandez.

“We really appreciate that he is attending our practices,” said coach Fernandez.

Kim on the other hand said that it is Gerald’s dream of becoming a professional basketball player.  Kim shared,

“Dati bukod sa pagiging artista, pangarap niya maging basketball player. So iyon siguro sana matupad na niya ang dream niya.”

However, Gerald had clarified that he has no intention of leaving showbiz for the PBA during an interview on “The Buzz” last Sunday.

Gerald Anderson the center of speculations that he is going to leave the showbiz world that gave him the wonderful life and his family is enjoying in order to play for the PBA Developmental League or PBA D-League.

But the rumors seems to lend  some credence after reports from sports writers say that Gerald Anderson indeed tried out and attended practices for a PBA D-League team.

Snow Badua said that Gerald attended the practices of North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Team which was also confirmed by the team’s coach Boyet Fernandez.

Coach Fernandez said of Anderson attending practices,

“We really appreciate that he is attending our practices.”

Boyet Fernandez added,

“One time, nanood siya ng game ng Meralco, and he talked to me through (player agent) Charlie Dy. He said that he wanted to get in shape.”
“He is an off-guard and he can play.”

As to the possibility of Gerald Anderson playing into his team?

“Kami naman, no promises. We are not closing the door,” said coach Fernandez.

Gerald Anderson knows very well that his new tandem with Sarah and Jewel will encounter some criticisms and he was readied himself for it.  On an article published by Push.com. Gerald said that he is excited for his upcoming projects with Sarah and Jewel.

But a nasty rumor about Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo was published on a tabloid.

Cristy Fermin wrote on her November 20 column of Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo’s purported untamed romance during their flight going back to the Philippines.  The article said that the two were on a business class section of the flight and were so sweet with one another that they were described to have made that section of the aircraft like a motel.

Again, the article comes from a tabloid and written by Cristy Fermin.  It is up for you if you are to give credence to the rumor or not.  Any thoughts?

For Kim Chiu’s part, she was rumored to be so hurt of the break-up that she got depressed.  Now she is being paired with Enchong Dee.

Gerald made the admission on Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN) saying that,

“We also decided to… siguro ‘yon muna, friends muna. We’ll stay friends muna.  Mas nakilala ko siya, hindi lang yung Bea Alonzo but as a person who’s very genuine and thoughtful, and sobrang bait. I’ve had that great opportunity to know her.”

Many rumors were written of the purported break-up of Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo that happened during their US concert tour.  But Bea kept silent while Gerald denied the whole break-up thing.

Now, he has admitted that all the rumors were true, time to move on.

Star Magic of ABS-CBN confirmed that the Kapmilya Stars Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo has been receiving hate mails and death threats. Star Magic had already consulted this issue to the authorities “to determine if these people can be identified, caught and prosecuted.”

It was said that the threats could’ve sprung from Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson’s recent love team break up. They were rumored to be real-life lovers but never admitted it.  As their love team came to an end, Kim went solo and Gerald is now courting Bea Alonzo. Chui and Anderson’s fans got annoyed with this news.

When asked about the threats, “Kimerald” fans club denied that they were behind it.

Anderson and Chiu became very emotional on the presscon of their newly launched movie (some say it would probably be their last project together for this  year) “Till my Heartaches End”.

Anderson expressed himself emotionally and then walked out of the presscon. Chiu asked their fans to just respect their decisions and that they also have the right to privacy.

“Ayokong may naririnig ako na papatayin si Bea, tatapunan ng asido at papatayin si Gerald. Ayoko ng ganoon.”

“Tanggapin ninyo na kung anuman ‘yong nangyayari, and sana, maging masaya tayo. Kung anuman ang nangayayari ngayon, sana ay tanggapin ninyo na at maintindihan nila na may personal din kaming buhay.” Kim Chiu stated.

It further disclosed that some of its personnel are also receiving email messages from unknown people with threatening messages. With this issue at hand, Star Magic said that it is already coordination with authorities on what to do and how to track these people.

The statement further said,

“As we do this, we also appeal to them to please stop the threats and respect the personal decisions of our artists.”

All these hate mails and online threats are said to have come after the two announced their love team will have to part ways.  This news may have not sat well with fans.

The movie that they are said to work in “Till My Heartaches End” which is tentatively said will be directed by Jose Javier Reyes under Star Cinema.

It will be remembered that Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson parted ways professionally as love team saying that the two are finding new projects with different partners.  From then on, Gerald has been linked to Sam Pinto and Bea Alonzo while Kim Chiu was linked to Enchong Dee.  The former was also rumored to have attempted to commit suicide due to the professional split and break-up.

Nonetheless, this new movie is certainly a good news to all their fans.

After officially being a Kapuso, Pinto is said to appear in Party Pilipinas in  and to join the upcoming telefantasya “Encantadia: Second Saga”.

She is also part of the remake of “Petrang Kabayo”, which also stars Vice Ganda with the lead role.

Rumors say that their love team has been dissolved and it was the reason why Chiu attempted to kill herself. When asked about Kim’s alleged suicide attempt, Anderson immediately dispelled the idea.

However, his interview with Boy Abunda did not discuss his rumored relationship with Bea Alonzo, also a Kapamilya talent.
