Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos confirmed to PEP.ph that her next project under Star Cinema will no longer be with the Megastar Sharon Cuneta, but with one of the Philippines’ promising actresses, Kim Chiu.

The Batangas Governor did not give any reason as to why the original team up with the Megastar is not going to push through. However, the Star for All Seasons is still hopeful that she’d be able to work with the Megastar on other projects.

Ate Vi, as the governor is popularly called, shares in Filipino, “Shawie has a drama movie lined up. The movie that I’m having with Director Chito [Rono] with Kim Chiu is suspense horror.”

They are supposed to start filming on the second week of July but they had to move the shooting schedule due to some hitches that has to be immediately dealt with like the fish kill in the Governor’s province. Hopefully, by the last week of August, Ate Vi will be able to start shooting.

Ate Vi and Kim Chiu’s roles will surely be loved by the viewers, especially by the Vilmanians.

Ate Vi meanwhile denies the rumors that she has a project with Nora Aunor who will be returning to the Philippines.

Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos have been pitted against each other since the peak of their careers during their teen years.

Filipina actress Kim Chiu became one of the trending topics on Twitter locally after showing her dream house on country’s tv show Kris TV which I hosted by Kris Aquino.

Audience was left in awe with the actress’ biggest investment.
Tweets gathered over the social network says:

“Kim Chiu is just 21 years old to achieve a big dream house. That’s because all of her hardwork and determination. So inspiring! Love her,” user @REHJJJ.

“Watched #kristv awhile ago. Saw Kim Chiu’s house. Love her house! x,” Jessica de la Paz said.

Chiu’s multi-million peso white and beige dreamhouse is situated in an upscale subdivision in Quezon City where she bought the 600-square-meter property in November 2009 and had started building in 2010.
Just last April 6, 2011, Chiu moved with her family into her beautiful three-storey house.

The hashtag #Kim Chiu made it to the 8th spot on Twitter’s list of top trending topics in the Philippines on Friday afternoon followed by Pinoy brand #Penshoppe.

Penshoppe is also trending because of the report that Chiu will be doing a commercial with international star Mario Maurer, native Thai model and actor, for the said clothing brand.

Kim said in an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon”

“Kahit naman anong ginagawa niya ang kung saan siya [masaya], nandito lang naman ako nakasuporta pa rin.”

Gerald Anderson was reported to have been contemplating of leaving the entertainment industry in order to join the Philippine Basketball Association’s D-League.  Sports writers said that Gerald had joined the practice of the NLEX Red Warriors a couple of times.  (watch video of Gerald here playing basketball)

This was confirmed by the NLEX coach, Boyet Fernandez.

“We really appreciate that he is attending our practices,” said coach Fernandez.

Kim on the other hand said that it is Gerald’s dream of becoming a professional basketball player.  Kim shared,

“Dati bukod sa pagiging artista, pangarap niya maging basketball player. So iyon siguro sana matupad na niya ang dream niya.”

However, Gerald had clarified that he has no intention of leaving showbiz for the PBA during an interview on “The Buzz” last Sunday.

Like his ex onscreen partner/rumored girlfriend Kim Chiu, Anderson passed the Department of Education’s alternative learning system test. He shared that he was supposed to attend the graduation rite where Kim delivered a somewhat emotional speech.

“Yes graduate din ako. Actually dapat kasama din ako sa ceremony na ‘yon pero nandito ako sa Tanay. Pero okay lang naman, ‘yong diploma ay nasa akin,” stated the 22-year-old former PBB housemate.

Kim Chiu shared on Thursday that she had already finished her high school studies through the Alternative Learning System of the Department of Education.  Kim said that she had passed the accreditation test administered to them and was given a high school diploma.

Kim was reported to have delivered the graduation address in front of thousand of her fellow high school students.  During the address, Kim could not hide her emotion and shed some tears.

“Lagi nating tatandaan na ang kahalagahan ng buhay ay hindi lang natin mararating sa ating sarili. Libre hong mangarap. Sa lahat ng may gustong abutin sa buhay, isipin na lang ho natin na hindi imposibleng mangarap katulad ko. Pinangarap kong makapagtapos ng pag-aaral at ito natapos ko na kaya congratulations po sa ating lahat.”

In an interview with “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon”, Kim revealed that it was her grandmother’s wish for her to finish her studies.  She also admitted the difficulty of putting two equally-important tasks on both hands.  She said that it was difficult to work and study at the same but, it was all worth it.

It was uploaded by anonymous_jane on Twitter which created a gabfest among the newsmongers. Atkins immediately reacted that Niña is just a friend.

Yeah, that happens all the time, he should have known it by now coz everybody has his eyes on him prolly because he’s hot. LOL. Anyhows, they look good together. Right?

Simon Atkins, basketball player from the De la Salle University Green Archers was reported by ABS-CBN to have expressed his desire to meet Kim Chiu.

Bianca Gonzales was reported to have been the first one to break the news when she tweeted:

“Aaw, The Valentine spirit is on Twitter! First, Phil Younghusband asks Angel Locsin out; Next, I hear Simon Atkins wants to meet Kim Chiu!”

The news immediately spread like wildfire on Twitter and other social networking sites.

Atkins was said to have expressed his desire to meet Kim with fellow La Salle student Josef Elizalde.  He asked Josef to facilitate a meeting with Kim.  On a Twitter message, Simon said,

“@josefelizalde pssst kim chiu! pakilala mo ako haha.”

However, Simon clarified that he has not yet asked Kim for a date until they were formally introduced to each other.

Twitter seems to be the latest online cupid huh?  Anyways, Simon is an Archer.  Could he fire his arrow of love into right into Kim’s heart ?

Gerald made the admission on Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN) saying that,

“We also decided to… siguro ‘yon muna, friends muna. We’ll stay friends muna.  Mas nakilala ko siya, hindi lang yung Bea Alonzo but as a person who’s very genuine and thoughtful, and sobrang bait. I’ve had that great opportunity to know her.”

Many rumors were written of the purported break-up of Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo that happened during their US concert tour.  But Bea kept silent while Gerald denied the whole break-up thing.

Now, he has admitted that all the rumors were true, time to move on.

Star Magic of ABS-CBN confirmed that the Kapmilya Stars Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo has been receiving hate mails and death threats. Star Magic had already consulted this issue to the authorities “to determine if these people can be identified, caught and prosecuted.”

It was said that the threats could’ve sprung from Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson’s recent love team break up. They were rumored to be real-life lovers but never admitted it.  As their love team came to an end, Kim went solo and Gerald is now courting Bea Alonzo. Chui and Anderson’s fans got annoyed with this news.

When asked about the threats, “Kimerald” fans club denied that they were behind it.

Anderson and Chiu became very emotional on the presscon of their newly launched movie (some say it would probably be their last project together for this  year) “Till my Heartaches End”.

Anderson expressed himself emotionally and then walked out of the presscon. Chiu asked their fans to just respect their decisions and that they also have the right to privacy.
