The kiss between Ann and Ivan came after the two housemates joined the spin-the-bottle game and had made a dare with each to lip-lock.

Kuya fuming with anger, immediately asked the housemates to go the confession room.

The PBB teen housemates kiss video is now making a round into Youtube and many other social networking sites.

People are now speculating whether the very strict MTRCB is going to slap a sanction on the top rated TV show as it has shown on many other shows that it has either reprimanded or suspended.

Many teen housemates have been forcibly evicted by Kuya in this season for being hard-headed.  And this incident clearly indicates that they have not yet learned their lesson.

The MTRCB has once again put its foot down on the unresolved issue of Rosanna Roce’s negative remarks against teachers months ago on Showtime that warranted for its suspension.  But the first suspension was set aside after the media giant appealed the case and got a TRO or Temporary Restraining Order from the court.

But ABS-CBN through its legal department shot back saying that the regulatory body has no right to implement such an order and they will appeal the issue to the Office of the President.  And for now, viewers can expect to see the show on its regular programming as the network is not backing down.

MTRCB further said that the media company could no longer replace “Showtime” with “Magpasikat” as the two shows are just but the same; and doing such a move will only warrant more suspensions.

The Renegade Blogger’s Thought: I think MTRCB is quite vindictive already, if not using its power as a tool for political harassment to those critical to the administration, and I think if ABS-CBN appeals to the President, such a course of action will only result in futility.

For those who haven’t read yet that post, it is here on “Intellectualizing PBB Resbak Attack, the Mudslinging and All”.

Commenters like Kitkat who was also an avid fan of the show (take note of the word “was”) felt that the show has gone overboard saying,

Filipino viewers are more intelligent than what they think. There are lots of creative ideas on how to do that ‘resbak.’ Let them engage into a skill competition while the ‘resbak team’ treat them formally & in a businesslike manner, not with verbal & physical VIOLENCE. They could hurl some judgments, but only after pointing out their good qualities first. Not with stupidity like : ‘puti ka ug itlog’–Princess’s statement. That was really stupid & unnecessary. Scandalosa….ganyan ba ang mga filipina?

While Thinking Out Loud shared how the show has turned from an enjoyable and relaxing experience into an exhausting situation for a viewer like him,

I just hope that whatever it is they get the result they want includng the ratings. Ive seen it, didnt like it. After a long day at work i just want to feel relax and not stress myself anymore.

With all these reasons and valid observations, commenters and readers on that post already raised the red flag for the MTRCB to take a serious look at the show as it already poses a great danger to the viewers especially the young ones. While MTRCB immediately took notice of just the first incident on “Showtime” and gave it a preventive suspension (though I think on that incident it has abused its power), I think, PBB “Resbak Attack” poses an even greater, more serious danger with the way it is presently being run by its spin doctors

While Osang’s remarks came from just one person who is just a guest judge on a live program with the staff of the show having no control of it, the “Resbak Attack” is the brainchild of its writers and staff and is still subject to editing before being televised, making the matter more serious in terms of total disregard on self-regulation.  Are the people behind the show getting happy when their contestants are already fighting against each other uttering foul words and showing unbecoming behaviors that young viewers could easily pick up?

The MTRCB should already step in this time around.

I myself after two episodes of that promised twist have stopped watching the show. What can you get with a TV show that espouses violence, trash talk, verbal abuses and unbecoming characters just to get some media mileage and a little upper hand on ratings?

As I shared before, when Laurenti Dyogi was confronted with the issue of gender discrimination (regarding Rica) that is happening inside the house, he said that they will be doing something on that, and though it is negative issue, at least the show is being talked about.

And here is what Kitkat has to say to that,

I used to be a fan of PBB, not anymore. No matter how PBB justifies the ‘mudslinging’ & verbal violence. A spade is still a spade. They have underestimated the intellect of the Filipino viewers.

“Magpasikat” is still the composed by the same hosts of the suspended program and with a quite similar program format, only that this time around, celebrities are the ones who are invited to show their talents.

MTRCB through its lawyerwants to suspend “Magpasikat” also for the reason that “Showtime” and “Magpasikat” are just the same.

To this, ABS-CBN lawyers and executives already cried foul for the seemingly vendetta of MTRCB to all noontime shows, and their clear violation of due process and disregard to existing laws and procedures.  While the only agenda for the meeting and hearing that day is the suspension of “Showtime” the lawyer of the MTRCB just brought up its recommendation of filing a suspension to “Magpasikat” for the above-mentioned reason.

What is happening to this agency?  Personal vendetta or what?

Rosanna Roces was immediately suspended by ABS-CBN from being one of the judges on the show the day after the incident.

With the 20-day suspension, ABS-CBN is said to raise the decision of MTRCB to a proper court, for not giving the network and the staff of the talent show due process to defend themselves. The hosts and staff of the show felt that the decision of the MTRCB was done in haste and felt sad that they were slapped with such a decision.

With the suspension effective immediately, upon receipt of the network, ABS-CBN is said to put in a temporary program while they are still appealing their case.

I think, ABS-CBN has a case, as they obviously responded with responsible actions against of Rosanna Roces, and second, they deserve to be given due process as to the handling of the issue.
