First, he clarified the issue that his relationship with girlfriend Melai Cantiveros has been on the rocks ever since because of his womanizing schemes and Melai‘s inappropriate jealousy. Fransisco explained that they are way past jealousy and denied that he is a “babaero”.

However, there are certain hearsays that Jason had been physically abusing Melai.

“Ay, sobrang napaka-hindi totoo niyan. Sobrang hindi!

Kasi, alam n’yo, malapit na po ang Pasko kaya dapat magmahalan. Bakit tayo magsasakitan?”

“At saka, hindi ko yun kayang pagbuhatan ng kamay. At saka, siya nga minsan ang nangungurot sa akin.

“Pero hindi ko siya pinagbubuhatan ng kamay. Hindi ko po gagawin yun at saka, marami pong nanonood, masama po yun.”

“Sa totoo lang, hindi naman po ako manalo sa kanya kaya imposible po na mabugbog ko siya,” Jason said.

At the end of the interview, Jason said an on-screen Christmas message to Melai:

” I miss you kasi araw-araw tayong nagkikita. Pero serious, I miss you pa rin kasi, wala siya rito… I love you.”

It’s clear then, Jason never did assault Melai. It’s probably the other way around.

For this rumor, Melai answered and clarified the issue:

Hindi naman totoong nagkakagulo dahil sa pera. Kakakuha ko lang nung one million na cash prize ko. Ibigay ko ‘yung iba siguro kay mama kasi kailangan naming magbayad ng mga utang, over over sa dami. Nangutang din si mama para may ipang-text siya sa akin para ma-save ako sa PBB. Babayaran ko muna ‘yun.

Melissa shared that she will also be very wise on handling her cash prize especially when people who know her are asking for “balato”.

She is for now, together with her ex-housemates undergoing acting workshops under the tutelage of Star Magic, and expect the Melason to be seen more on TV as they will star on Kokey@Ako with Sam Milby and Angel Locsin.

I think this is a very usual when a not-so-financially ok contestant wins a big cash prize.  Certainly, with rumors like this, it only tells that Melai is slowly but surely becoming a big star in Pinoy showbiz.

Well, we can all very well remember her as the small lady with a very conservative background who was a cry baby and fought for her love for Hermes Bautista to no avail ending up nursing a broken heart after eviction as the guy was in love with Cathy.

So the questions were, will Carol try to see Hermes given the chance to do some catching up and maybe rekindle her feelings for the hot and sexy housemate from Pampanga?

This is what Carol said after being asked if they could become good friends despite what they have been through inside the PBB house:

Hindi pa kami nakakapag-usap. Civil naman kami ngayon. For me naman wala nang dapat pag-usapan. Na-resolve ko naman na ‘yung issue ko on my own. Okay na ako.

It sounds to me that Carol is still bitter about being busted by Hermes and treated instead as a younger sister.  Move on girl

During the The Bottomline interview with Boy Abunda (watch videos of  The Bottomline interview here), Melai was asked if she will undergo any cosmetic surgery to improve her looks knowing that she has been teased since she was still a little girl about her physical aspect.  She answered in the negative as she said she is confident about they way she looks.

Once again, the newest and hottest Pinay celebrity today was interviewed on dzMM last Sunday of she wants to undergo “cosmetic enhancement surgeries”.

Melai said,

Hindi po ako magre-retoke. Injection nahihirapan na ako. Paano pa kaya mga opera-opera?

Melai and Jason has a new show that premiered today, Monday.  It is a realityserye about their funny romantic relationship entitled “Melason” every Monday-Friday, 10 AM and on Saturdays after MMK.

The issue of the results being rigged came from some PBB Fans themselves who raised their doubts after Melai has speedily overtaken 2^nd Placer Paul Jake after only 4 days that the Cebuano young businessman topped in the unofficial vote results.  During that time Melai was only on the 3^rd spot.

The final results during the Big Night put Melai on the top spot with 32.08% text votes with Paul Jake coming in second with 27.31% of text votes and Jason on the third slot.

PBB management has however denied any irregularities on the results saying that they have maintained transparency and fairness, and that the unofficial text vote results posted days before the Big Night only encouraged fans to vote more for their favorite housemates.

Asked about the issue, Paul Jake said that Melai deserves to win.

Ejay Falcon, 20, winner of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus and star of the hit afternoon teleserye “Katorse” is being linked to an issue that he got a woman pregnant and that these lady is going to sue him for abandonment.

Pressed for his comment on the issue, Ejay just shrugged it off and said on SNN:

Hindi ko po talaga gagawin yon. Hindi naman ako gaya ni Gabby (Falcon’s character in the defunct television series “Katorse”) na kung may nabuntis ay iiwan niya. Si Ejay po ako at pananagutan ko ‘yon. Pero ngayon, wala pa talaga at wala pa sa isip ko ‘yon.

Ejay is now starring on the replacement of “Katorse” in the afternoon time slot “Tanging Yaman” with Enchong Dee, Erich Gonzales and Rowell Santiago who is making a come back on soap operas.

For those who haven’t read yet that post, it is here on “Intellectualizing PBB Resbak Attack, the Mudslinging and All”.

Commenters like Kitkat who was also an avid fan of the show (take note of the word “was”) felt that the show has gone overboard saying,

Filipino viewers are more intelligent than what they think. There are lots of creative ideas on how to do that ‘resbak.’ Let them engage into a skill competition while the ‘resbak team’ treat them formally & in a businesslike manner, not with verbal & physical VIOLENCE. They could hurl some judgments, but only after pointing out their good qualities first. Not with stupidity like : ‘puti ka ug itlog’–Princess’s statement. That was really stupid & unnecessary. Scandalosa….ganyan ba ang mga filipina?

While Thinking Out Loud shared how the show has turned from an enjoyable and relaxing experience into an exhausting situation for a viewer like him,

I just hope that whatever it is they get the result they want includng the ratings. Ive seen it, didnt like it. After a long day at work i just want to feel relax and not stress myself anymore.

With all these reasons and valid observations, commenters and readers on that post already raised the red flag for the MTRCB to take a serious look at the show as it already poses a great danger to the viewers especially the young ones. While MTRCB immediately took notice of just the first incident on “Showtime” and gave it a preventive suspension (though I think on that incident it has abused its power), I think, PBB “Resbak Attack” poses an even greater, more serious danger with the way it is presently being run by its spin doctors

While Osang’s remarks came from just one person who is just a guest judge on a live program with the staff of the show having no control of it, the “Resbak Attack” is the brainchild of its writers and staff and is still subject to editing before being televised, making the matter more serious in terms of total disregard on self-regulation.  Are the people behind the show getting happy when their contestants are already fighting against each other uttering foul words and showing unbecoming behaviors that young viewers could easily pick up?

The MTRCB should already step in this time around.

I myself after two episodes of that promised twist have stopped watching the show. What can you get with a TV show that espouses violence, trash talk, verbal abuses and unbecoming characters just to get some media mileage and a little upper hand on ratings?

As I shared before, when Laurenti Dyogi was confronted with the issue of gender discrimination (regarding Rica) that is happening inside the house, he said that they will be doing something on that, and though it is negative issue, at least the show is being talked about.

And here is what Kitkat has to say to that,

I used to be a fan of PBB, not anymore. No matter how PBB justifies the ‘mudslinging’ & verbal violence. A spade is still a spade. They have underestimated the intellect of the Filipino viewers.
