At around 5:30 a.m. Dennis Robert Adriano rammed into a police officer’s car along Tomas Morato in Quezon City.

Inspector John Ganzon, commander of Traffic Sector 4 of the Quezon City Police District, said that Onyok, Roces’ son’s nickname, will be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property.

According to witnesses, Onyok was driving his Ford Lynx in the Scout Circle, along TOmas Morato and was headed to Kamuning road when he rammed into the Mitsubishi Lancer of Inspector Feliciano Almojuela Jr. of Quezon City Police District Season 1. Inspector Almojuela was driving along Timog Avenue towards EDSA.

According to Ganzon, Adriano “was incoherent and could barely answer questions of policemen. He seemed drunk at the time. The group, including two girls, appeared to be all drunk.”

Initial investigation showed that Onyok had gone bar hopping and was in a convoy of five. Police reports indicate that the force of impact caused the Lancer to spin several times before stopping. The vehicle was severely damaged on the left side, the driver, Almojuela, sustained minor injuries.

Onyok Adriano, 20, is a bar production head and resident of Provident Village, Marikina City.

The Teachers’ Dignity Coalition was the first teachers’ group to slam at Roces’ remarks on the show describing them as “insulting words”. Further, the group said that,

With the show management’s action ahead of the censors’ board, the network and Ms. Roces herself, indeed, admitted that there were excesses. The removal of Ms. Roces in the hurados and her apology are proofs that the show management is responsible enough to regulate and penalize itself. We are in sympathy with the show’s production staff, hosts, other judges, contestants and the viewing public who, in one way or another, have been affected by this controversy.

Teachers also called the attention of all programs, their staff and hosts, for this issue to serve as a lesson to be extra sensitive and responsible when airing out their thoughts in front of the camera.

With the controversy heating up and many camps and sectors now slamming the haste of MTRCB’s decision, some fans have even created an anti-Osang page on the popular social networking site Facebook calling it Rosanna Roces Hate Club.

One friend on Twitter even said that ABS-CBN should be suing Osang by now as the very reason for the suspension, as she was just a guest judge and was paid for it led the show to a disaster. While other twitter friends suggested of schools banning and boycotting Osang. Well, how are we to boycott someone who is already a “laos” as they say?

Teachers' Group Slam Osang and Suspension of Showtime; Anti-Osang Groups Surfacing is a copyrighted article from Showbiz Renegade

Rosanna Roces was immediately suspended by ABS-CBN from being one of the judges on the show the day after the incident.

With the 20-day suspension, ABS-CBN is said to raise the decision of MTRCB to a proper court, for not giving the network and the staff of the talent show due process to defend themselves. The hosts and staff of the show felt that the decision of the MTRCB was done in haste and felt sad that they were slapped with such a decision.

With the suspension effective immediately, upon receipt of the network, ABS-CBN is said to put in a temporary program while they are still appealing their case.

I think, ABS-CBN has a case, as they obviously responded with responsible actions against of Rosanna Roces, and second, they deserve to be given due process as to the handling of the issue.
