The sexy model and rumored girlfriend of Borgy Manotoc was one of the “Burados” last Saturday together with hunk Jason Abalos.

Georgina spent 7 weeks as a “Hurado” on ABS-CBN’s Showtime.

She was reported by several entertainment sites to have heading for Bangkok today to shoot for a commercial project.

George is one of the main models of the popular Philippine clothing brand Bench.  She is also a regular face on many fashion shows as a ramp model.

Talent Manager Wyngard Tracy

Before he died, news had already broke out that he was dead when in fact he was still in ICU of Makati Med, fighting for his life. It was Entertainment writer Dinno Erece who tweeted at 10PM last night that Wyngard had already died. Nonetheless, Tracy reached the same fate.

Tracy managed the successful careers of John Estrada, Lucy Torres, Wendell Ramos, Richard Gomez and Maricel Soriano.

Wyngard was a  judge on GMA 7′s Pinoy Idol and on ABS-CBN’s Search for the Star in a Million. He was also a contestant on GMA’s Celebrity Duets Season 1.  His last TV appearance was early this 2010, as a judge in Showtime and Magpasikat on ABS-CBN .

However, Tracy‘s last wish was to have a party instead of a wake.

A memorial mass for the talent manager will be held at 5:00 p.m. today at La Salle Greenhills Chapel. The party that Tracy requested, will be on Thursday, November 18.

The new ABS-CBN programming includes the showing of Star Cinema movies and moving of the timeslots of shows.

Here is the new time slot and programming of ABS-CBN:

On the other hand, GMA7 has also adjusted its own programming but still gave Eat Bulaga its same time slot compared to Pilipinas Win na Win that would only start around 1:30 PM.  Obviously, Showtime is pitted against Eat Bulaga.

XB GenSan won the first ever Showtime Grand Finals title during the grand finals showdown today at the Ynares Coliseum.

The team from General Santos City in Mindanao that performed last and bested all other 10 grand finalists shook the venue and took an average score of 9.875 from almost 40 judges.  XB GenSan bested 10 other great performers.

Not really as colorful and dramatic in terms of costumes and props compared to other contestants, XB GenSan however fascinated the crowd and the judges that almost all celebrity judges gave them a perfect score of 10.

As the ABS-CBN top-rating show “ShowTime” still dominates the rating game on its time slot, GMA executives through the announcement made by its CEO Felipe Gozon has made the decision to drop “Diz Is It” as its ratings are still not faring well against its fierce rival.

“Diz Is It” will be replaced by “Danz Showdown”, a dance-reality competition.  The new TV show is to be hosted by the Sexbomb Dancers.

Well, we will still have to see if this new show can even eat a small chunk of the ratings as TV5’s “Face to Face” is also gaining some good viewership.

The Tado remark about gays started out the exchange with Vice Ganda as this did not sit well with the latter.

TADO: “Lahi ng mga matatapang [pertaining to the contestants]. Di bumagay ang pangalan n’yo sa performance n’yo kasi parang pang-gay ung [hums] nye nye nye nye.”

VICE GANDA: “Ano namang masama sa pang-gay? May problema ka ba sa mga bakla, Tado?”

TADO: “Hindi naman. Just read my shirt.”

VICE GANDA: “Ano nakalagay? Sabi ni Tado, di bale na ang magnakaw kesa mamakla.”

VICE GANDA: “Tado, gusto ko lang sabihin sa iyo na maraming bata ang nanonood at nakakabasa ng mensahe mo ngayon. Ang pagnanakaw ay masamang gawa na ikinukulong. Ang pamamakla, walang nakukulong sa lalakeng pumapatol sa bakla tandaan mo yan.”

TADO: “Kaya dapat magmahalan tayo.”

VICE GANDA: “At ang pagiging bakla ay hindi kaduwagan. Hindi lahat ng lalakeng straight ay hindi bakla tandaan mo ‘yan. Ang lalakeng hindi marunong tanggapin ang katotohanan ng buhay ay ang totoong bakla tandaan mo ‘yan.”

TADO: “Ang mga gipit, sa bading kumakapit.”

VICE GANDA: “Pero ang gipit kung ganyan ang hitsura, walang baklang magpapakapit!”

Tado ceased exchanging words with Vice Ganda and shifted his focus on the contestants. But Vice Ganda could not move on and continued his remarks about the “gay” issue.

Vice Ganda: “Naapektuhan talaga ako sa sinabi ni Tado. Gusto ko lang maging totoo. At gusto ko lang itaas hindi lang ang sarili ko kundi lahat ng baklang nabubuhay sa mundo… At pati na rin lahat ng mga magulang na may anak na bakla, gusto ko lang sabihin sa kanila na walang nakakahiya sa pagiging bakla.”

The posts received a good amount of comments from readers.

Some of these say that Willie should just resign and stop the talking because if he wants to go, then he just have to do it.  Others offered some alternativse like if Willie wants to resign, then so be it and just let Showtime take his time slot for the people to enjoy more and be spared the agony of having his show served over lunch.

The MTRCB has once again put its foot down on the unresolved issue of Rosanna Roce’s negative remarks against teachers months ago on Showtime that warranted for its suspension.  But the first suspension was set aside after the media giant appealed the case and got a TRO or Temporary Restraining Order from the court.

But ABS-CBN through its legal department shot back saying that the regulatory body has no right to implement such an order and they will appeal the issue to the Office of the President.  And for now, viewers can expect to see the show on its regular programming as the network is not backing down.

MTRCB further said that the media company could no longer replace “Showtime” with “Magpasikat” as the two shows are just but the same; and doing such a move will only warrant more suspensions.

The Renegade Blogger’s Thought: I think MTRCB is quite vindictive already, if not using its power as a tool for political harassment to those critical to the administration, and I think if ABS-CBN appeals to the President, such a course of action will only result in futility.

Most recently, he is being intrigued with his comments about their show’s rival program on GMA7 “Diz Iz It”; that some people who have heard his comments were offended.

GMA7 came up with its own talent show entitled “Diz Iz It” and placed it on the same time slot with ABS-CBN’s “Showtime”. Many of these who have watched the new show pitted against that of ABS said that it is really a copied program just to rival the popularity of “Showtime” and maybe gain back a big chunk of viewership.

To this issue Vice Ganda said:

…Nung um-absent ako sa Showtime, mayroon na akong chance na mapanood sila, tiningnan ko sa ‘Net, wala, e, walang file, walang nag-upload. So, nagre-rely na lang ako sa mga hearsays, sa mga nakapanood, sa mga nagkuwento. Base sa mga kuwento nila, sa mga napanood nila, wala naman palang dahilan para ma-offend kami. Unang-una, wala akong binaggit na Diz Is It, wala akong tinukoy na Kapuso o GMA 7. Wala akong tinukoy na ganun. Gaya ng sinabi ko, hindi ko sila napanood. Ang sinabi lang sa akin, ginaya nga raw yung konspeto, tapos pareho pa ng timeslot, talagang tinapat.

Vice said that at first he was very nervous with the news of having a program that will rival theirs on the same time slot.  But with what he heard from friends comparing the two show, he said further that he is just so flattered that if indeed “Showtime” was copied, it only thus meant that their show is really good.

But also left at the same some words full of meaning:

Kaya lang, kung ang panggagaya sa iyo ay nakaka-offend, parang binababoy naman kami, hindi mo kami binibigyan ng tribute kundi binababoy mo kami.

While its hitmaker “Showtime” encountered some serious problems with the suspension given by the MTRCB, GMA is not taking the issue of the ABS-CBN talent show’s stellar ratings sitting down.

GMA7 has put in a new TV show “Diz Is It” on the same time slot as a replacement to the talk show “SiS by the De Belen sisters.  It will be hosted by Bayani Agbayani, Ehra Madrigal, Sam YG aka Shivaker and Grace Lee, while celebrity judge of the talent show is Maricel Soriano.

With “Dis Is It” pitted against “Showtime” the rivalry of the two networks for audience share and ratings will be more bloody, but the former has certainly lots of things to do to outbest the latter’s stellar appeal to lots of viewers…and of course advertisers.
